WELCOME BACK! We are thrilled to welcome you back since we closed due to flash flood damage sustained during Tropical Storm Ophelia on Sept 29, 2023. No animals were harmed by the storm and all are doing well. We’re proud of the zoo staff who continued to care for the animals and our facilities during this challenging time.
No Smoking. The Prospect Park Zoo is a smoke-free park. Smoking, including vape and e-cigarettes, is not permitted.
Do not feed, touch or chase the peacocks. These birds roam freely throughout our zoo. Please treat them kindly. Enjoy and respect them from a safe distance.
